Norwich City have received a new and improved offer from Celtic for striker Adam Idah.
The Championship club have not accepted the fresh deal, but discussions between the clubs continue.
The Canaries previously rejected the Scottish champions’ bid of around £4m after Idah, 23, had finished last season on loan in Glasgow.
The Republic of Ireland international scored nine goals in 19 Celtic appearances and has netted 17 times in 115 Norwich games.
Last month, Idah was left out of Norwich City’s friendly with Hoffenheim for disciplinary reasons, with head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup saying the striker had “reported late” for a team flight.
