Bojan Miovski: Aberdeen forward holds talks with Girona

Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski is holding talks with Girona as he moves closer to a Pittodrie exit.

The 25-year-old, who started Monday’s Scottish Premiership opener at St Johnstone, could command a fee that surpasses that of any previous outfield player in Scottish football, not including Celtic and Rangers players.

Whilst talks are ongoing, there is still plenty work to be done by Girona to get a deal over the line and nothing has been confirmed.

However, it would appear that the forward’s successful two-year spell at Aberdeen is drawing to an end with the added carrot of Champions League football also on offer with the La Liga outfit following their third-placed finish last term.

Miovski has been capped 22 times by North Macedonia, scoring three times.

Meanwhile, the Dons are hoping to further add to their squad in the next few days following the arrival on Thursday of Croatian midfielder Ante Palaversa.
