Brighton have signed attacking midfielder Jelena Cankovic from Chelsea.
The Serbia international joined the Blues from Swedish side FC Rosengard in 2022 and made 38 appearances in her time in west London.
Cankovic, 29, leaves Chelsea having won the Women’s Super League twice and the FA Cup once.
The length of her Brighton contract has not been disclosed.
Albion boss Dario Vidosic said: “We’re delighted to bring a player of Jelena’s pedigree and experience to the club.
“She has already achieved so much in her career but is ready for a new chapter and excited by this challenge.
“Her experience and knowledge will be important in helping our squad grow and I am looking forward to working with her.”
