Sonia Bompastor: Chelsea manager happy about start to life at the club


New Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor says she is feeling “very happy” about her start to life at Chelsea.

The Frenchwoman, 44, has taken over at the Blues following the departure of Emma Hayes after 12 years at the club.

Bompaster, who won the Women’s Champions League three times as manager of Lyon, will be in the Chelsea dugout as they being their Women’s Super League title defence at home to Aston Villa on Friday.
